Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist IV for the 3rd shift, onsite in Buffalo, NY. You will produce high-precision components for aerospace and defense, using advanced CNC machines and CAD/CAM workflows.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 6 years of diversified machinist experience; CAD/CAM experience is a plus. A $3,500 sign-on bonus applies to eligible applicants who apply within the window.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 years’ experience as a diversified machinist.
• CAD/CAM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision machining operations and CNC programming on CAM systems to create, repair, or modify complex parts and assemblies.
• Knowledge of G & M Codes.
• Plan fixturing and layout of the job; hold tight tolerances (.0001-.0002).
• Inspect the quality of all work performed.
• Collaborate with Design Draftsmen and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues.
