Job summary

Moog is seeking a Finisher I to support 3rd Shift operations in our Military Aircraft Group in Buffalo, NY. The Finisher I removes burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections, ensuring components meet quality and safety requirements before inspection and assembly.

Eligible for a $3,500 sign-on bonus. Requires High School diploma or GED and at least 3 months of related experience in a machine shop. 2nd/3rd shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise ability to understand and follow English instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
• At least 3 months of related experience including deburring/finishing in a machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined components to meet specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities affecting performance or compliance.
• Support durability by ensuring proper finishing before inspection or assembly.
• Help prevent structural failures by ensuring parts are free of excess material and defects.
• Prepare parts for the next production stage, ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for inspection or shipment.
