Moog is seeking a Grind Machinist I for the 3rd shift in Buffalo, NY. You will machine precision components for aerospace programs, following blueprints and process instructions to ensure quality in mission-critical applications.

The role offers a $3,500 sign-on bonus and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus CNC experience or formal training. FAA Drug & Alcohol Program participation is required, with overtime shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year machining experience or formal CNC training.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting CNC processes.
• Proficient with micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate from blueprints and work instructions.
• Set up and grind complex parts after training in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
• Inspect all work using a variety of gauges.
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems in the work area.
