Job summary

Moog is seeking a Finisher I for the 3rd shift at our Buffalo, NY facility. The role focuses on removing burrs and finishing machined aerospace components to meet strict quality and safety standards, enabling successful inspection and assembly.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), at least 3 months of related deburring/finishing experience, and FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment. A sign-on bonus of $3,500 is available for qualified candidates.

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise ability to understand and apply training in English.
• At least 3 months of related experience including deburring/finishing in a machine shop.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is required for Safety Sensitive Work.

Responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined components to meet engineering and quality specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities that could affect product performance or compliance with specifications.
• Support product durability and longevity by ensuring components are properly finished before moving to inspection or assembly.
• Help prevent structural failures and assembly issues by ensuring parts are free of excess material and manufacturing defects.
• Prepare parts for the next stage of production by ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for inspection, assembly, or shipment.
