Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY seeks a Finisher III for the 2nd shift to support our Space and Defense Group operations. You will work from operation sheets, blueprints, and bodies to plan the sequence of finishing tasks and ensure quality on complex parts.

The role requires at least 3 years of Finisher experience in a machine shop and a high school diploma or GED. Moog offers a competitive compensation package, 10% shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• At least 3 years' experience as a Finisher in a machine shop setting.

Responsibilities

• Work from operation sheets, blueprints, sketches, and bodies to plan entire sequence of work performed.
• Select, sharpen, and/or make special tooling as required.
• Select lighting aids, inspection gauges, and visual magnification as required to meet quality specifications.
• Perform work on complex bodies having multi-internal hole intersections and related tasks.
• Instruct and assist Finisher II employees on new jobs and methods.
