Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Finisher II to remove burrs, deburrs, and finish machined aerospace components to meet strict quality standards. You will inspect parts and prepare them for subsequent steps, ensuring safety and reliability in demanding applications.

The position offers 2nd/3rd shift differential and a $3,500 sign-on bonus, with a strong focus on craftsmanship and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, ability to understand and apply all instructions in English and perform basic math.
• At least 3 months of related experience including deburring and/or finishing in a machine shop environment.
• Compliance with FAA regulations for Safety Sensitive Work.

Responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined components to meet specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities that could affect performance or compliance.
• Support durability by ensuring components are properly finished before inspection or assembly.
• Help prevent structural failures and assembly issues by ensuring parts are free of manufacturing defects.
• Prepare parts for next production stages by ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for inspection, assembly, or shipment.
