Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Finisher II to join our Space and Defense Group on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will work from operation sheets and blueprints to plan the sequence of finishing work and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Finisher in a machine shop.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and follow English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work from operation sheets, blueprints, sketches and bodies to plan the sequence of finishing work.
• Select, sharpen and/or make special tooling as required.
• Select lighting aids, inspection gauges and visual magnification to meet quality specs.
• Perform work on complex bodies with multi-internal hole intersections; may include all Finisher II duties.
• Instruct and assist Finisher II employees on new jobs and methods.
