Job summary

Moog is seeking a Finisher I for the 3rd shift in Buffalo, NY. This onsite role focuses on deburring, edge finishing, and surface treatment of aerospace components to ensure safety and reliability in critical military applications.

The position includes a $3,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants and a strong benefits package. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with at least 3 months of related finishing experience and English literacy required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• At least 3 months of related experience in deburring and/or finishing in a machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined components to meet specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities that could affect performance.
• Prepare parts for the next stage by ensuring they are clean, safe and ready for inspection, assembly or shipment.
• Support durability and longevity by ensuring components are properly finished before moving to inspection or assembly.
• Help prevent failures by ensuring parts are free of defects and excess material.
