Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Finisher II for onsite work in East Aurora, NY, with 2nd and 3rd shift availability. You will follow operation sheets and blueprints to plan and execute finishing tasks, sharpening tooling, and ensuring quality through inspection cues.

The role includes guiding junior staff and adapting to complex body geometries. The position offers a $3,500 sign-on bonus and requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) plus 2+ years in a machine shop finishing role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; otherwise demonstrate ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Finisher in a machine shop setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan entire sequence of work from operation sheets, blueprints, sketches and bodies.
• Select and prepare tooling as required and follow quality specifications.
• Interpret and apply inspection cues and identify complex body features.
• Instruct and assist Finisher II employees on new jobs and methods.
