Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Finisher I for the 3rd shift at the Buffalo, NY site. You will remove burrs and surface imperfections from machined aerospace components, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards prior to inspection and assembly.

The role emphasizes craftsmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to FAA safety requirements. Qualified applicants have at least a high school diploma or GED and 3 months of related finishing experience in a machine shop.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English.
• At least 3 months of related experience including deburring and finishing in a machine shop environment.
• Compliance with FAA Drug & Alcohol Program for Safety Sensitive Work.

Responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections to meet specs.
• Inspect finished parts for defects affecting performance or specifications.
• Support durability by ensuring proper finishing before inspection or assembly.
• Help prevent structural failures by ensuring parts are free of excess material and defects.
• Prepare parts for next production stage, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for inspection, assembly, or shipment.
