Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Finisher II to perform deburring and finishing of aerospace components on onsite shifts. The role emphasizes precision, safety compliance, and contributing to downstream quality before inspection and assembly.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with at least 3 months of related machine shop finishing experience and ability to read instructions in English. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At least 3 months of related experience which should include experience deburring and/or finishing, in a machine shop environment
• In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s “F.A

Responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined components to ensure parts meet engineering and quality specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities that could affect product performance or compliance with specifications.
• Support product durability and longevity by ensuring components are properly finished before moving to inspection or assembly.
• Help prevent structural failures and assembly issues by ensuring parts are free of excess material and manufacturing defects.
• Prepare parts for the next stage of production by ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for inspection, assembly, or shipment
