Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking an experienced Proposal Specialist / Marketing Specialist to lead transportation and infrastructure pursuits in a Hybrid role across Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, or West Virginia.

You’ll drive end-to-end strategy, schedule, narratives, and compliance, turning technical depth into persuasive stories and owning the pursuit process with engineers and business leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in proposal coordination, proposal management, or AEC marketing.

Responsibilities

• Lead full pursuit lifecycle from kickoff through submission and shortlist interview.
• Head mid-sized pursuits independently; support major and multi-firm efforts alongside senior marketing staff.
• RFP compliance; build the matrix, own it, confirm every requirement is answered before anything leaves the building.
• Writing and editing; craft narratives, executive summaries, project descriptions, and staff resumes.
• Shortlist interviews; develop presentations, coordinate rehearsal and logistics.
• Deltek Vantagepoint; keep data accurate and reusable, improve capture and reuse.
• Marketing collateral; service briefs, project profiles, awards submissions, and speaking proposals.
