Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join our Service team during peak seasonal periods. You’ll be on the front lines, helping with vehicle intake, quality, and logistics, while supporting technicians with basic repairs and PDI tasks.

The role offers hands-on training through the TRAIL program and RLN modules for career growth into a Service Technician. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, maintain safety and 5S standards, and develop cross-functional skills across

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent credential preferred.
• Previous technical experience (e.g. automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or electrical work) or adjacent technical industry experience preferred.
• Strong desire to learn, high adaptability, and hands-on mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license (no suspensions/revocation in 3–5 years).
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week, including varied shifts, weekends, and holidays; physical tasks up to 50 lbs."
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, data entry, and tool use; reading/s interpreting documents.
• Regular interaction with customers, partners, and suppliers at Rivian facilities and events.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & Site Operations: receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory; maintain vehicle readiness through washing, detailing, and charging; manage vehicle logistics and secure key management; keep service center clean and 5S compliant.
• Service Production Support: assist technicians with basic repairs, perform PDI tasks, use basic hand and power tools under supervision; maintain tool readiness.
• Training & Career Development: participate in the TRAIL program, receive mentorship and on-the-job training for Service Technician role, complete RLN modules, explore a long-term pathway into a Service Technician career.
