Job summary

Rivian seeks an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join our service team during peak seasonal periods. You will help ensure Rivian vehicles are ready for delivery and service, supporting technicians and learning critical maintenance tasks.

This entry-point role offers hands-on learning, TRAIl pathway mentorship, and opportunities to grow into a Service Technician position, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and flexible scheduling across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred.
• Previous technical experience (e.g. automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or electrical work) or adjacent technical industry experience is highly preferred.
• A strong desire to learn, adaptability, and a passion for working with your hands.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license (no recent suspensions).
• Able to work a flexible 40-hour week, possibly including weekends and holidays; physical tasks up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & site operations: receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory; wash, detail, and charge vehicles; manage lot organization and key control.
• Service production support: assist technicians with basic vehicle repairs and PDI tasks; learn to use basic hand tools under supervision; maintain tool readiness.
