Rivian seeks an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join our Service team during peak seasonal periods. You’ll be on the front lines, ensuring vehicle readiness and smooth owner journeys while gaining hands-on experience toward a future as a Service Technician.

In this entry-focused role, you’ll learn through the TRAIL program, receive mentorship, and complete Rivian Learning Network modules, with opportunities to grow into a technician path within Rivian’s fast-growing ecosystem.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred.
• Previous technical experience (e.g. automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or electrical work) or experience in an adjacent technical industry is highly preferred.
• A strong desire to learn, adaptability, and hands-on work enthusiasm.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week including weekends/holidays; lifts up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
• Maintain vehicle quality and readiness through washing, detailing, and charging.
• Manage vehicle logistics, including lot organization and key management.
• Maintain a safe, organized service center environment following 5S principles.
• Assist technicians with basic vehicle repairs and PDI tasks under supervision.
• Support the workshop by keeping tools and equipment ready.
