Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join our Service team during peak seasonal periods. You will help ensure Rivian vehicles are ready for delivery by supporting vehicle intake, detailing, charging, and logistics, while learning to perform basic repairs under supervision.

This entry‑level role provides hands-on training through the TRAIL program and RLN modules, with a clear pathway toward becoming a Service Technician, and cross‑functional support to ensure site success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in automotive repair or technical field preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and hands-on mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Driver's license 21+ years old with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
• Maintain vehicle readiness through washing, detailing, and charging.
• Manage vehicle logistics, lot organization, shuttling, and key management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service center (5S).
• Assist technicians with basic vehicle repairs and PDI tasks.
• Learn to safely use basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
• Support workshop by maintaining tool and equipment readiness.
• Participate in the TRAIL program and complete RLN modules.
• Explore a pathway into a long-term career as a Service Technician.
• Provide cross-functional support to other areas as needed.
