Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join the Service team in Washington. You will work on vehicle inventory intake, prep, and readiness to ensure owners experience seamless adventures with Rivian vehicles.

This entry point emphasizes hands-on learning, mentoring, and pathways toward becoming a Service Technician. You will participate in TRAIL and Rivian Learning Network modules, gaining technical exposure and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Previous technical experience in automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or related fields is highly preferred.
• A strong desire to learn and adapt in a hands-on environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Must be able to work a flexible 40-hour week including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
• Maintain vehicle quality and readiness through washing, detailing, and charging.
• Manage vehicle logistics, including lot organization, shuttling, and key management.
• Maintain a clean, safe service center environment following 5S principles.
• Assist technicians with basic vehicle repairs and PDI tasks.
• Learn to safely use basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
• Participate in the TRAIL program and RLN modules for career development.
• Provide cross-functional support to other areas as needed.
