Job summary

Rivian Automotive in Indiana is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join our Service team during peak seasons. You will help with vehicle inventory, prepping cars, and supporting technicians as you train toward a Service Technician role.

This entry-point position offers hands-on learning, exposure to PDI tasks, and a clear path through Rivian Learning Network to advance within Rivian.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Previous technical experience or adjacent technical industry preferred.
Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week, including weekends/holidays.
Willingness to learn and work hands-on with tools.

Responsibilities

Vehicle & Site Operations: receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory; wash, detail, and charge vehicles; manage logistics and secure keys; maintain a clean, safe service center.
Service Production Support: assist technicians with basic repairs, learn PDI tasks and Express Lane work; use hand and power tools under supervision; ensure tool readiness.
Training & Career Development: participate in TRAIL program; receive mentorship and on-the-job training; complete RLN modules; explore pathway to Service Technician; support cross‑functional needs as required.
