Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist in Washington state to support the Rivian Service team during peak seasons. You will help with vehicle intake, prep, and logistics, while gaining hands-on training toward a Service Technician role.

This entry-point position offers mentorship, the TRAIL program, and opportunities to learn Rivian processes and safety standards. The role requires a flexible 40-hour week, weekend availability, and a strong hands-on work ethic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous technical experience in automotive repair or related field preferred.
• Strong desire to learn and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible 40-hour week including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
• Maintain vehicle quality and readiness through washing, detailing, charging.
• Manage vehicle logistics and secure key management.
• Maintain clean, safe service center environment.
• Assist technicians with basic repairs focusing on PDI tasks.
• Learn to safely use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Support workshop by maintaining tool readiness.
• Participate in TRAIL program with hands-on learning.
• Receive mentorship and on-the-job training for the Service Technician role.
• Complete Rivian Learning Network (RLN) modules.
• Explore a dedicated pathway into a long-term career as a Service Technician.
• Provide cross-functional support to other areas of the business as needed.
