Job summary

Baxter International Inc. seeks a Field Sales Performance Manager for its Advanced Surgery division. You will lead and coach sales teams on clinical and commercial capabilities, while building relationships with doctors and nurses who use Baxter solutions daily.

You will collaborate with Area VP and Global Commercial Training to accelerate education and drive performance across the field, with frequent travel and on-site leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience.
• Must have hospital-based selling experience in the OR and experience coaching, training, or mentoring peers.
• Travel 50% is required and may involve visits to multiple states.
• Proven experience coaching, mentoring, or training small teams and developing others.
• Knowledge of adult-learning methodologies and experience managing or creating medical education programs.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must live near a major metropolitan airport and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead quota for new hires in area; manage small teams and drive adoption of selling skills and product knowledge.
• Coach and mentor peers and sales reps through direct supervision, calls, field rides, and reviews.
• Build culture by mentoring new hires and delivering the pillars: Commercial Selling Skills, Customer Knowledge, Product Knowledge.
• Create new educational content and experiences to accelerate development of skills for tenured and new reps.
• Partner with leadership to plan and deliver training for all sales roles reporting to Area VP.
• Deliver training with in-person and virtual sessions for various internal customer groups.
