Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Field Sales Performance Manager to lead our Advanced Surgery division on-site, coaching sales reps, building doctor and nurse relationships, and driving adoption of selling skills and clinical knowledge.

You will develop and deliver training, mentor new hires, and partner with senior leaders to accelerate the talent pipeline while supporting regional education programs and ensuring a culture of continuous learning and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience.
• Experience with hospital-based selling in the OR, and coaching/training/mentoring peers.
• 50%+ travel; geography may span several states; remote visits may occur.
• Proven coaching/mentoring of small teams toward performance gains.
• Knowledge of adult-learning methodologies; experience managing/creating medical education content.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; strong customer service.
• Strong problem-solving and influence-management skills.
• Must live near a major metropolitan airport and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Being responsible for the quota of new hires in area; leading small teams and driving adoption of selling skills and clinical knowledge.
• Coaching and mentoring peers and sales reps through direct supervision, 1:1 calls, field rides, coaching reports, and reviews.
• Mentor new hires; remote and in-person supervision; teach Commercial Selling Skills, Customer Knowledge, and Product Knowledge.
• Create new educational content and experiences to develop skills for tenured and new reps.
• Partner with leadership to plan and deliver training for all sales roles.
• Deliver training and run in-person and virtual meetings for internal customer groups.
• Help shape the future of the sales workforce through comprehensive Baxter Advanced Surgery training.
