Job summary

Baxter in the Advanced Surgery division seeks a Field Sales Performance Manager to lead coaching and training across the Southeast region. The role focuses on developing sales talent, mentoring representatives, and delivering clinical and commercial education to drive performance.

The ideal candidate will bring a track record in hospital-based selling, strong coaching skills, and experience with adult-learning methodologies. Expect up to 50% travel and proximity to a major metropolitan airport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience, or 8+ years operating room sales experience.
• Demonstrated hospital-based selling and operating room sales background
• Proven coaching, mentoring, or training experience with measurable performance results
• Knowledge of adult-learning methodologies and medical education program management
• At least 50% travel required; must live near major metropolitan airport with valid driver's license
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and influence-management skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee quota accountability for new hires and coach sales representatives through field rides and business reviews
• Mentor sales teams on commercial selling skills, customer knowledge, and product knowledge across lifecycle
• Develop educational content and training materials for advanced surgery sales representatives
• Partner with Area Vice President and training leadership to identify and deliver role-specific training programs
• Facilitate regional and national sales meetings, new-product training, and material updates
