Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Field Sales Performance Manager for our Advanced Surgery division in the United States. You will lead and coach field teams, align with executives, and drive onboarding, clinical and commercial capability development on-site with healthcare professionals.

You will develop educational content, deliver training, and shape the sales talent pipeline while partnering with the Area VP and global training leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience.
• Experience with hospital-based selling in the OR.
• Travel up to 50% and may span several states.
• Coaching/mentoring small teams to measurable performance gains.
• Knowledge of adult-learning methodologies and medical education content.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
• Strong problem-solving and influence-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Live near a major metropolitan airport with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead quota for new hires in area; build trust and influence across field.
• Coach and mentor peers and sales reps via supervision, calls, field rides, and reviews.
• Build culture by mentoring new hires; supervise remotely and in person; teach selling, knowledge, and product pillars.
• Create new educational content and experiences to accelerate skill development.
• Partner with senior leaders to plan and deliver training for all sales roles.
• Deliver training in-person and virtually for various internal groups.
• Shape the future sales workforce through Baxter Advanced Surgery training across the lifecycle.
• Lead regional/national sales meetings and support new product training materials.
