Mercy is seeking an Advanced Patient Services Representative to support our clinic operations. You will coordinate patient interactions, handle administrative tasks, and deliver exceptional service to patients and healthcare staff.

In this role, you will rely on your knowledge of medical terminology, insurance and billing practices, and strong communication skills to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Proficient in both Patient Services Representative and Advance Patient Services Representative competencies, as verified by department leader.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance practices, and billing procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members.

• Manage patient interactions, scheduling, and front-desk duties to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Handle administrative tasks and data entry with accuracy and privacy.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
