The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Advanced MSA to provide specialized administrative patient support within an interdisciplinary care delivery model. The role involves managing appointment flows, updating patient records, and coordinating with multiple clinics and care settings in Fayetteville, NC.

Applicants may come with basic clerical experience or education; advancement depends on meeting licensure or certification requirements and performance within the VA’s guidelines.

Formación

• Six months experience of clerical, office, customer service, or other administrative work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position.
• OR One year above high school; OR Equivalent combination of experience and education are qualifying for entry level for which both education and experience are acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments and/or consults.
• Enter no-show information and monitor appointment requests from multiple electronic sources.
• Coordinate administrative functions for transfers to other facilities and determine appointment type based on eligibility.
• Verify and update demographics and insurance information at check-in; participate in daily huddles with staff.
