Jacobs in Saint Francisville, LA is seeking a Field Material Controller for Advanced Manufacturing. You will perform field material control transactions for major capital equipment and materials under supervision, following defined procedures and policies.

You will use MS Office with advanced Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) to manage MRRs, MIRs, OS&Ds, and preserve documentation. On-site role with a focus on problem solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in capital equipment material control preferred.
• 2+ years on-site experience in complex, large-scale construction environments.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Certificate; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Experience with Materials Management software (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of material control processes, procedures, and tools.
• Review shipment release documentation and ensure shipment authorizations align with PO terms.
• Advise stakeholders how to create shipment releases and understand the process.
• Administer MRRs, MIRs and OS&D reports.
• Maintain material control documentation in a repository.
• Identify material control risks and coordinate OS&D resolution.
