Jacobs is seeking a Field Material Controller for Advanced Manufacturing at our Saint Francisville, LA site. You will manage field material control activities for major capital equipment, handling MRAs, MIRs, OS&Ds, and shipment releases under supervision.

You’ll liaise with Project Procurement Managers and Materials Lead to ensure compliant material flow. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2–5 years of on-site experience, OSHA 10, and strong Excel and ERP system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent project experience in relevant field.
• 2–5 years of capital equipment material control experience preferred.
• 2+ years on-site experience in large-scale construction environments.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Certificate (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Experience with materials management software and procurement processes (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of material control processes and tools; apply procurement principles to project delivery.
• Review shipment release-related documentation and ensure approvals align with PO terms and Material Control Plan.
• Advise stakeholders on creating shipment releases and shipment authorization processes.
• Administer MRAs, MIRs, OS&Ds; maintain preservation activity registers.
• Coordinate OS&D resolution and maintain material control documentation.
• Work under close supervision and coordinate with project personnel on material control activities.
