Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Material Controller for Advanced Manufacturing in Saint Francisville, LA to manage field material control transactions for major capital equipment under supervision.

You will develop understanding of material control processes, review shipment documents, and maintain MRRs/MIRs/OS&Ds while coordinating with project teams. The role offers a hybrid work policy and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• 2–5 years in capital equipment material control preferred.
• On-site construction experience in large projects beneficial.
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Experience with inventory control and procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand material control processes, tools, and project delivery workflows.
• Review shipment release documentation and approve shipment authorizations per PO terms.
• Administer MRRs, MIRs, and OS&D reports; maintain preservation registers.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders on material control activities.
• Identify material control risks and contribute to OS&D resolution.
