Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Field Material Controller for Advanced Manufacturing at our Saint Francisville, LA site. You will manage field material control activities for major capital equipment with close supervision, applying established procedures and tools.

The role requires experience in materials management, on-site construction exposure, and proficiency in MS Office and MM software. You will report to the Manager of Material Control and collaborate with the Project Procurement Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management, or equivalent project experience.
• Proven knowledge of materials management concepts and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of material control processes and tools.
• Review shipment release documentation and ensure PO terms are met.
• Administer MRRs, MIRs, and OS&Ds; maintain a material preservation register.
• Coordinate with project/department personnel on material control activities.
