Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our team.

This full-time role requires diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances and related systems to keep the community in top condition and rental homes rent-ready.

You will perform preventative maintenance, support safety programs, and handle on-call rotations while contributing to a high-quality living experience for residents.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance repair work.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs in a timely manner according to standards.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready promptly and performs turnkey work as needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance on systems and surfaces.
• Assists in interior and exterior painting as required.
• Maintains safety culture and follows all safety policies.
