Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Durham, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to service our apartment communities. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure homes are rent-ready in a timely manner.

We value on-call flexibility, safety, and quality workmanship, with opportunities for growth across our expanding portfolio of communities. A valid driver’s license and strong customer-service skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

2-3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical work.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work on-call rotation and provide customer service.
Read and understand policies and procedures including SDS and PPE usage.
Knowledge of painting and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, and other systems.
Completes service requests and repairs in a timely manner per standards.
Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly.
Conducts preventive maintenance on units and systems.
Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces as needed.
Maintains safety culture and follows Vivmark safety policies.
