Job summary

Cable One, Inc. is hiring an Advance Technician to install and repair customer systems, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure high-quality connectivity across HFC and fiber networks. You will interpret maps, verify documentation, and perform underground locates as part of field operations.

The role requires readiness to work variable shifts, overtime, and on-call support, with ongoing training and opportunities for career growth within Sparklight brands.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must successfully complete Sparklight Advanced Technician training within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair customer equipment and perform troubleshooting to maintain network service quality.
• Diagnose malfunctions in Headend, HFC and fiber optic networks and repair as needed.
• Read and interpret system/network design maps and verify as-built documentation against field findings.
• Perform underground facility locates and splicing/terminating coaxial and fiber cables as required.
• Train other technical personnel as directed by local management.
