Job summary

Cable One, Inc. is seeking an Advance Technician to install, repair, and troubleshoot network services across the headend, HFC and fiber optic plant. You will read maps, perform surveys, and activate devices to ensure high-quality connectivity for customers.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or technical school training confirms foundational telecom skills.
• Minimum related field experience or completion of Sparklight training within 6 months.
• Knowledge of test equipment including OTDR and VOM is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to work variable hours including overtime and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Install new customer services and repair equipment across the network.
• Troubleshoot headend, HFC, and fiber networks to diagnose faults.
• Read and interpret system maps and document field findings.
• Splice/terminate coax and fiber and activate devices.
• Support customers during service interruptions and outages.
