Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a cardiac ultrasound technologist to provide high-quality echocardiography imaging for adult patients. You will perform 2D studies of the heart and great vessels, assist with stress testing, and provide support to the cardiology team.

Qualifications include ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year and BLS within 30 days. Education required is a sonography-related field; new grads are accepted. Sign‑on and relocation bonuses are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration required within 1 year.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• Educational background in sonography or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Identifies EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmias.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and adjusts controls for optimal image quality.
• Assesses cardiac structure and function, including Doppler techniques and color flow.
• Communicates results to cardiology team and documents findings.
