Job summary

Carle Health in Portland, OR is seeking a certified echocardiography technologist to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. Responsibilities include assisting with stress testing and related duties as required, with sign-on and relocation bonuses offered.

The candidate should hold ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year, have a Sonography-related education, and be prepared to work in a fast-paced cardiology environment with a focus on accuracy

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification required within 1 year.
• BLS certification required within 30 days (AHA).
• Education: Sonography or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels.
• Assesses EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmias.
• Uses age-appropriate techniques and imaging views for cardiac structures.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and optimizes image quality (TCG, focus, gains).
• Documents findings and communicates results to cardiology team.
• Participates in stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiograms as needed.
