  • Meeting & Event Logistics: Coordinate room reservations, AV, catering and agenda for hybrid/virtual/in-person meetings.

  • Financial Assistance: Process vendor invoices, submit check requests, track budget items, assist with POs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as primary admin contact between internal staff, partners, and vendors.

Randstad USA’s Business Administration & Operations team is currently seeking a reliable Administrative Assistant for a premier, nonpartisan policy and research organization based in Washington, D.C.

Operating in a flexible hybrid working model, this role is essential to keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly across dynamic, cross-functional teams. You will handle core administrative tasks, coordinate complex schedules, manage event logistics, and maintain organized record systems. If you bring exceptional attention to detail, great communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, we want to connect with you.

salary: $25 - $29 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Manage executive calendars, schedule internal and external meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements and expense reports.
  • Document Management: Draft, proofread, and format basic correspondence, memos, reports, and presentation slides while maintaining centralized filing systems.
  • Meeting & Event Logistics: Coordinate room reservations, AV setup, catering, and agenda distribution for hybrid, virtual, and in-person team meetings.
  • Operational Coordination: Monitor team email inboxes, screen incoming inquiries, route correspondence, and order office supplies as needed.
  • Financial Assistance: Process vendor invoices, submit check requests, track basic budget items, and assist with purchase order processing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a primary administrative point of contact between internal staff, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless workflow.
