Overview
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and coordinates activities for specific individuals, teams, or departments, ensuring tasks and activities are completed in a timely manner and efficiently. Under close supervision, this job plays a key role in ensuring the success and smooth-running of daily operations for employees of all levels.
Essential Job Function
- Maintains office inventory, facilitates supply orders, and completes other general office duties.
- Supports employees with various tasks related to onboarding, appointment setting, and travel arrangements.
- Provides appointment assistance through scheduling, paperwork preparation, and diligent record-keeping.
- Handles various office tasks related to communication and organization, including proofing, editing, and producing documents, reports, and presentations.
- Helps to uphold organizational policies and procedures, while also ensuring organization-wide coordination efforts among various teams and departments.
- Provides comprehensive meeting and training support to ensure information is communicated appropriately.
- Assists with maintenance of organizational systems and databases to make sure information is accurately recorded.
- Ensures compliance requirements are upheld and met.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred: Associate's Degree in Business, Office Management or related field
Experience
- Required: 2 years of adminsitrative support.
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: MOSES H. CONE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT AND SPIRITUAL CARE ONLY: Notary Public required or must obtain within 90 days of date of hire. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
