Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle, WA, seeks an engineer to translate engineering intent into additively manufactured flight hardware. You will own the AM process from print to post‑processing, driving improvements and working with design and fabrication teams.

The role requires CAD/design experience, 2+ years in aerospace, and ability to perform root‑cause analyses. Onsite in Kent, WA with a strong culture of safety and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Ability to earn trust and contribute to an inclusive culture.
• Must be a U.S. citizen/national or lawful resident.
• 2+ years in aerospace or similar industries.
• Exposure to laser powder bed fusion printing or similar.
• Onsite support for production in Kent.
• Advanced degree and CAD/Design/Simulation experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the offshift engineering support of AM components from printing to post-processing.
• Demonstrate machine workflows and software to improve additive designs.
• Develop manufacturing work instructions from print to delivery.
• Closely manage cost, quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware.
• Perform root cause analyses and deploy corrective actions.
