Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a highly motivated engineer to support the translation of engineering intent into additively manufactured metallic flight hardware. You will work with operators, quality technicians, and engineers to drive robust processes from print to delivery.

Responsibilities include developing AM components, learning LPB workflows, and creating production print models. This role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and inclusion, with on-site work in Kent, WA and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering or related field.
• Interest in or exposure to additive manufacturing technologies.
• Ability to contribute to a culture of inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Develop AM components from concept to production using Laser Powder Bed printing.
• Define and deliver production print models with controlled processes.
• Learn machine workflows and software to improve additive designs.
• Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions from print to delivery.
• Support cost, quality, build sequence, and schedule across manufacturing.
• Assist in root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Support onsite operations in Kent, WA and occasional off-hours as needed.
