Job summary

Johnson Controls offers an Accelerated Commercial Excellence (ACE) Program for recent graduates to become skilled sales professionals across seven business units. The role centers on Fire Suppression projects, with training, mentorship, and a mix of technical and commercial exposure.

You will start in Milwaukee, WI for six months, then relocate to a predetermined base in California upon graduation, supporting Territory Managers and customers with CRM updates, RFI/RFP support, and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or Business)
• Recent graduate or undergrad senior expecting to graduate between Apr 2027 – Jun 2027. Program starts in Jun 2027
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Must be able to be in Milwaukee, WI (Glendale WI) for the first six months, then relocate to California
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Complete ACE foundational sales training
• Provide technical and commercial aid to FSP outside sales personnel and customers
• Assist sales team with opportunity pipeline management and CRM updates
• Support RFIs and RFPs from customers
• Develop relationships with cross-functional teams and customers
• Develop relationships with managed accounts to generate new business opportunities
• Provide problem-solving assistance for order management and pricing issues
• Attend training sessions to build product knowledge and sales process
• Lead customer-facing product presentations as SME
• Analyze sales reports using PowerBI
• Promote use of the Solution Navigator portal
• Daily cadence with Territory and Regional Managers to monitor progress
• Travel to plants, R&D facilities, and customer sites for training and shadowing
