Job summary

Foundation Finance Company is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency in alignment with company policy.

You will handle more complex inquiries from the service team, perform outbound calls, process over-the-phone payments, and provide hardship relief options. Strong communication and typing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year of customer service or collections experience preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Internet and email.
• Strong phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Typing speed and accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency per policy.
• Handle more complex account questions from the customer service team and other representatives.
• Perform outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Identify delinquent accounts and determine best resolution actions.
• Process over-the-phone payments including credit card transactions.
• Provide hardship relief options per policy.
• Explain interest, statements and other account details to customers.
• Complete in-office and administrative tasks as needed.
• Document notes in required systems per processes.
• Adapt to changing product requirements and policies.
• Shift schedule includes two evenings (12pm-9pm CST; 10am-7pm CST) and one Saturday every 5 weeks.
