Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years of accounts payable experience.
• At least one year in a supervisory or mentoring role.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and supervision to Accounts Payable staff.
• Assign, distribute, and monitor workload and quality of output.
• Develop staff through performance management, goal setting, and training.
• Oversee year-end 1099 and W-2 processes.
• Review and approve wire transfers, checks, and invoices.
• Approve timecards and time-off requests for payroll accuracy.
• Optimize workflows and staff allocation for efficiency.
• Maintain communications with management, staff, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve client/service issues.
• Conduct new hire and ongoing staff training.
