Qualifications

• College degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the AP team and delegate AP workload to the team and review work as needed.
• Manage vendor payments via ACH, wire, and/or checks.
• Daily review of AP voucher distributions to ensure coding accuracy.
• Review team members monthly vendor reconciliations.
• Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures; provide recommendations for improvement.
• Approve and process weekly employee expenses via Emburse.
• Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and produce key metrics.
• Assist with audits and year-end tasks (1099 forms).
• Interact with other sub-units and supervisors to resolve AP process issues.
