Job summary

Zenith American Solutions, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Supervisor, Accounts Payable to lead a busy AP team, ensure accurate processing of invoices, wire transfers, and payroll-related tasks while upholding regulatory requirements.

The candidate should have five years AP experience with supervisory background, strong accounting knowledge, and excellent communication. Hybrid remote flexibility may apply; on-site work in Nevada with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years of experience in Accounts Payable with one year in a supervisory or mentoring role.
• Thorough understanding of common accounting principles and practices.
• Working knowledge of accounting software.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Clear and professional communication, both verbal and written.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team.
• Exceptional customer service and ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily leadership and supervision to staff consistent with management values and mission.
• Assigns, distributes, and monitors quality and quantity of work produced; holds staff accountable.
• Develops staff through performance management, goal setting, training, and employee relations.
• Maintains current knowledge of assigned Plan(s) and applies knowledge.
• Oversees year end 1099 and W-2 tax processes.
• Reviews and approves wire transfers, checks, and invoices.
• Reviews and approves timecards and time off requests for payroll accuracy.
• Optimizes workflows, tools, and staff allocation for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
