Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. You will manage the full AP cycle, enter invoices in Sage Intacct, match to POs, and ensure proper approvals.

The role requires 3–5 years of AP experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Strong Excel, analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential to support month-end close and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience; bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with an ERP system such as Sage Intacct preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently on deliverables to achieve accurate results.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP function and code invoices in Sage Intacct.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving docs with approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate AP questions with employees and vendors.
• Reconcile AP GL accounts and assist month-end close.
• Process employee expenses and corporate card transactions.
• Serve as liaison for procurement tool and approvals workflow.
• Ensure policy compliance and internal controls.
• Assist with audits and provide AP documentation.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
