Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an A/P Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. This role manages full-cycle accounts payable, processes invoices, ensures proper approvals, and supports month-end close.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with an ERP system such as Sage Intacct.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP, including invoicing and GL coding.
• Match invoices to POs and receiving docs with approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate AP questions with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist with month-end close and reconcile AP GL accounts.
• Process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
• Serve as point person for procurement tool, including support and approval workflow.
• Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Support audits with AP documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes.
