Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. You will manage full-cycle AP, reconcile statements, and support procurement tooling in a remote-first environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills ( Pivot, VLOOKUP ), and experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP. You will collaborate across departments to ensure timely, accurate payments and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle AP function, including entering invoices with accurate GL coding.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving docs with proper approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.
• Communicate AP questions with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
• Reconcile AP GL accounts and assist with month-end close.
• Review expense reports and corporate card transactions.
• Support procurement tool user and approval workflow maintenance.
• Ensure policy compliance and assist with audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency.
