Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an experienced A/P Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. You will manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensure accurate GL coding, match invoices to POs and receiving docs, and maintain strong internal controls.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems. This remote-first role supports a national reach and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with an ERP such as Sage Intacct preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle AP function and invoice entry with accurate GL coding.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving docs with proper approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Communicate AP-related questions with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist with month-end close and GL reconciliation for AP accounts.
• Process employee expense reports and corporate card transactions.
• Serve as the procurement tool administrator, handling user support and workflows.
