Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an AP Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. This role supports the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice entry, PO matching, and month-end close, with emphasis on accuracy and controls.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with Sage Intacct. Remote-first position with nationwide reach and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Advanced Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP, entering invoices with accurate GL coding.
• Match invoices to POs and receiving docs with proper approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate AP questions with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
• Reconcile AP GL accounts and assist month-end close.
