Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Eagan, MN. This on-site role focuses on accurate, timely processing of AP transactions, 2- and 3-way invoice matching, and vendor communication.

You will help with onboarding, 1099 support, and maintaining AP documents across DocuPhase and JDE. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in AP, proven discrepancy resolution, and experience navigating multiple systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• 2+ years researching discrepancies and 3-way matching.
• 2+ years navigating multiple systems.
• Proficiency in AP, invoice processing, PO, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
• Perform 2- and 3-way matching of invoices to POs and receiving docs.
• Review vendor statements, research variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage shared AP mailbox duties and respond to issues promptly.
• Assist with vendor onboarding and setup, maintenance, and credit forms.
• Process manual check requests as needed.
• Support 1099 preparation and reporting.
• Maintain AP docs in DocuPhase/JDE.
• Reference AP spreadsheets and reports for daily processing.
